Pay it forward

The movie "Pay it forward", was like an eye-opener to me. It starred Haley Joel Osment, Helen Hunt and Kevin Spacey. It was about how a teacher changes the life of one student, and how that one student changes the life of everyone else.

I say it was an eye-opener to me coz it showed me a whole new reason of the concept "Pay it BACK". Most people have the habit of paying back to the same person who had done them a favor or some help or something good in general. It doesnt necessarily have to be that way, unless that person really needs the payback. If its useful, then paying back is a nice opportunity to say how much the initial help meant to you. But if its not, paying back the favor is just a formality which may not be paid at all. Instead, pay it forward. Pay it forward means that you dont pay back to the person who initially helped you; but help someone else, someone who really needs your help, so that the help you give is of use. Then that person can pay it forward by helping someone else in dire need and so on.

I think that if people really do it, I mean, pay it forward, it would make a whole new change to the recipient, and it may make a change to a whole community if it continues. Helping is all about supporting some one who is in need and not supporting someone whose needs are already fulfilled. Think about it...
